Job Summary
A company is looking for a Pharmacy Technician - Triage.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with nurses, physicians, and caregivers
- Manage incoming phone calls and emails to de-escalate and troubleshoot issues for customers
- Update consumer profiles, process prescription refills, and submit electronic insurance claims
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy; 3+ years preferred
- Must have a current TX State Board of Pharmacy Technician License within the first 30 days of employment
- Ability to handle a large number of inbound calls
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Understanding of basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions
