Texas Licensed General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a General Counsel to oversee all legal, compliance, and regulatory matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement legal strategies that align with the company's mission and business goals
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Identify potential legal risks and develop mitigation strategies while advising on corporate governance matters

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
• 5+ years of legal experience, preferably in the technology industry and pre-series C stage companies
• Proven experience in advising executive teams and managing a broad range of legal matters
• Strong understanding of contract law, corporate governance, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities
