Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lost Time Claims Specialist, Workers' Compensation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage indemnity claims by evaluating and establishing action plans for medical and indemnity benefits
  • Investigate claims by gathering facts and determining eligibility for benefits using established guidelines
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to facilitate the injured worker's return to work and manage claims costs
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
  • Three years of experience in the field of workers' compensation insurance required
  • Ability to manage claims through the litigation process
  • One valid workers' compensation adjuster license is strongly preferred
  • Experience in workers' compensation claims practices and laws, court procedures, and state statutes
