Senior Inventory Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Inventory Accountant to join their Accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and recording of journal entries for inventory and cost accounting transactions
• Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and prepare financial reporting packages
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience focused on inventory and cost accounting
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and experience managing high volumes of inventory data
• Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
• Demonstrated success partnering with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights
