Job Summary

A company is looking for a Tax Accountant 1 to manage tax compliance and payroll functions remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure project deliverables and expectations are met daily through project management skills
• Coordinate and administer multi-state payroll tax compliance and maintain accurate tax filings
• Handle employee tax-related inquiries and manage the tax notice response process

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience required
• 1+ years of experience in automated financial operations and tax administration
• Working knowledge of accounting principles
• Experience with project management skills
• Ability to research tax regulations and adapt processes accordingly
