Job Summary

A company is looking for a Loan Counselor/Late Stage Collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service while assisting borrowers with timely payments and repayment issues
• Evaluate borrower information for payment options and determine escalations for loss mitigation
• Document communications and collaborate with other departments regarding loan payments

Required Qualifications

• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus
• Prior collection experience is required
• Familiarity with FHA or mortgage loan programs is preferred
• Spanish speaking ability is a plus
• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
