Job Summary
A company is looking for a General Ledger Accountant on a fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete and accurate transactions, month-end-closing activities, and prepare financial statements for the company's entities
- Analyze and reconcile general ledger account balances and provide explanations for variances
- Prepare and post journal entries for various transactions and support tax-related activities
Required Qualifications
- University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxes, Business, or a related field with 1-2 years of experience in financial accounting and taxes
- Familiarity with international teams and experience in taxes and fixed asset ledger is advantageous
- Proficient with Microsoft/Google tools and ERP systems like Oracle
- Strong communication skills in English and German
- Proactive attitude and ability to work under tight deadlines
