What You’ll Do: As a Flight Support Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
• Performing skilled work in operations, such as inspecting, dismantling, checking, and cleaning, repairing, replacing, testing, modifying, assembling, installing, adjusting, manufacturing, maneuvering, or towing aircraft, and/or run-up engines, deicing aircraft, to maintain the airworthiness of aircraft and all their parts while in service or while undergoing a modification.
• Verifying the quality of your workmanship, including signing mechanical flight releases, with the exception of signing mechanical flight releases for all work done on hands-on work.
• Purchasing your own parts in locations where stock chasers are not maintained or available.
• Working with other Aviation Maintenance Specialist personnel assigned to assist in completing a task.
• Working according to FAA and Company regulations and procedures and directions from a Team Lead or supervisor.
• Completing forms associated with work operations in accordance with established procedures.
• Communicating with other Company personnel as required in a manner designated by the Company.
All You’ll Require for Success:
• Minimum Qualifications: Education and Previous Work Experience
• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language or language native to geographical location.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions in accordance with Company Safety Procedures.
• Ability to work additional hours when there are operational requirements, such as weather delays.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and days off.
• Must report to work on a regular and timely basis.
