CPA Licensed Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller to manage financial operations and reporting in a high-growth legal-technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and ad hoc financial reports for senior leadership and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, including revenue recognition standards
• Manage relationships with external auditors and oversee budgeting and forecasting processes

Required Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years as a Controller
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA required
• Proficiency in GAAP and ASC 606
• Skilled in QuickBooks, ADP, Stripe, and Bill.com; advanced Excel capabilities
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with a focus on execution and strategic input
