Privacy Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Consultant - Privacy Analyst - Records of Processing Activities (ROPA).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive ROPA registers in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Ensure ROPA content meets data protection authority requirements and recommend corrective actions for inconsistencies
• Prepare ROPA data for regulatory inspections, audits, and generate compliance reports for leadership

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Governance, Data Privacy, or related discipline (or equivalent work experience)
• 2+ years in a privacy, data protection, or compliance role, with experience managing or maintaining ROPA
• Strong understanding of GDPR, UK GDPR, and related privacy regulations
• Proficiency with privacy management tools (e.g., OneTrust, TrustArc, or similar)
• CIPP/E, CIPM, or equivalent privacy certification
