A company is looking for a PCC Verification Associate II.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as front line support for the Patient Connection Center
- Review orders for complex outpatient services and specialized procedures for completeness prior to scheduling
- Verify patient insurance, confirm benefits, determine authorization requirements, and create patient liability estimates
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of experience in Revenue Cycle or related clerical accounting/finance, with one year in Healthcare Revenue Cycle
- No specific licensure or certification required by law
- Four years of related healthcare Revenue Cycle experience preferred
- Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative preferred
