Want to shape the future of industrial computing? As an Industrial Design Intern at OnLogic, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects, pushing the boundaries of design and technology. You will be responsible for optimizing our 3D rendering workflow, building out materials libraries and creating photorealistic environments. In addition you will play a vital role in assisting with the development of our core products. 

This internship will take place in the summer for 20 to 40 hours per week, onsite at our new South Burlington, Vermont Headquarters. Here, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience and contribute to a dynamic team environment.

This is what your day looks like: 

  • Craft high-quality renderings of custom designs in Keyshot.
  • Assist in exploring new design directions and developing innovative solutions.
  • Experiment with different rendering styles and techniques to enhance visual storytelling as well as improve upon our existing material library.
  • Actively participate in design reviews, critiques, and brainstorming sessions.
  • Currently pursuing bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design.
  • Portfolio demonstrating excellent rendering skills, and an understanding of how to balance form and function.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.  
  • Passion for design, a desire to learn and grow, and a strong interest in collaborative design processes.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, Blender) is a plus.
  • Ability to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

The pay for this internship is $18/hour, with a minimum of 20 hours per week commitment.
