Nuclear PRA Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Nuclear PRA Engineer to develop and support analyses in probabilistic risk assessment and severe accident analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop logic models and perform risk calculations using industry-standard methods and simulation tools
• Prepare, check, and review engineering reports, calculations, and probabilistic risk assessments
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical disciplines, customers, and regulators

Required Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering or physical science from an accredited college or university; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in probabilistic risk assessment and/or severe accident analysis
• In-depth understanding of engineering concepts, principles, and theories
• Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810
• Exceptional organization and technical writing skills
