About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Assessment and Guided Instruction, the Assessment & Sales Development Coordinator will execute the scoring services for classroom assessments and increase sales by expanding the customer contact roles using an inside sales model with a focus on Tier 1, 2, and 3 resources. This role will also be responsible for fielding calls from classroom and clinical customers and forwarding them to the appropriate person (e.g., sales team, order desk or dept. manager).

This role is a temporary 12-month contract opportunity based out of Newmarket, ON. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid capacity, both on- and off-site, at different capacities based on the time of school year and season. We are seeking an independent, professional, and detail-oriented professional to fill this full-time position.

Key Accountabilities

Scoring & Assessment Services:

  • Perform scanning, editing, scoring, and reporting of answer documents while ensuring a very high degree of accuracy
  • Co-ordinate packing and destruction or returns to customers
  • Meet or exceed the goals for turnaround times for scoring services
  • Provide live support for online administration during scheduled testing windows
  • Prepare and load rosters for CCAT 7, CTBS-R
  • Communicate technical issues with the Riverside team during testing windows
  • Provide Tier 1 technical support for online CCAT/CogAT administration
  • Perform quality-control checks on each reprint of scannable answer sheets
  • Perform routine calibration of the optical scanners; Arrange for service calls and maintenance when required.

 

Product Expert:

  • Assist with resolution of customer requests related to contents of intervention resources, optional components, missing components, replacement parts, etc.
  • Act as the front-line source of general information and assistance for Customer Support and external customers with inquiries relating to intervention resources

Sales Development:

  • Contact current and retired customers with information about new products
  • Update Salesforce with current contact information
  • Work with professional organizations to get promotional material out to their membership
  • Seek out new customer opportunities, including monitor all school conferences for additional sales opportunities

Who You Are

The Assessment & Sales Development Coordinator is a highly organized, detail-oriented administrative professional searching for an entry level role in an Administrative or Sales pathway. You are a proactive, thoughtful problem-solver who is able to communicate clearly and professionally with customers over the phone, email, and in-person. You are task-oriented, enjoying routine and consistency, while also having a passion for providing exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following traits:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with evolving project requirements and priorities
  • Ability to work independently
  • Deadline-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
  • Comfort with computer systems, quick to learn
  • Strong customer service skills and high regard for customer satisfaction
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-organized, with excellent attention to accuracy and details
  • Comfortable and adaptable to work peak times and volumes (cyclical)
  • Independent problem-resolution skills
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Microsoft applications is considered an asset

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift a carton of answer booklets (up to the size of a carton of photocopy paper) ~20lbs
  • Comfort with working independently
  • 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM work hours, Monday to Friday
