Licensed Therapist for Veterans

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Licensed Therapist Contractor specializing in Veteran and Military Mental Health.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group interventions for patients coping with mental health diagnoses and psychosocial stressors
• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and provide appropriate diagnoses and treatment plans
• Offer crisis interventions and case management services throughout the continuum of care

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Must be licensed to practice independently in any state (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.)
• Education: Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field, or a doctoral degree in psychology
• Minimum of 2 years' experience practicing therapy independently
• Experience working with veterans and military members is preferred
• Familiarity with DSM5 clinical presentations and evidence-based psychological interventions
