Our client, a prestigious law firm specializing in employment law, is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support their dynamic team. This role is crucial in assisting attorneys through various stages of employment-related cases, ensuring that the legal process runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and review legal documents including complaints, motions, and contracts related to employment law.
  • Conduct legal research and gather information pertinent to cases.
  • Assist in preparing for depositions, arbitrations, and trial by organizing exhibits and case files.
  • Manage case files, including documentation and correspondence with clients and opposing counsel.
  • Schedule appointments, hearings, and meetings as necessary.
  • Communicate with clients to provide updates and gather relevant information.
  • Prepare for and attend trial proceedings, assisting attorneys as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the legal team.
  • Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience in employment law or civil litigation.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and legal terminology.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with legal management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional demeanor and commitment to high-quality work.

Compensation: $32–$38 per hour (approximately $66,560–$79,040 annually for 40 hours/week), based on experience.

Hybrid Schedule: Minimum of 2 days per week in the office, with flexibility to work remotely the rest of the time—more office days are optional if preferred.

Benefits: 18 days of combined vacation and sick leave annually; health and retirement benefits are being finalized and expected to launch within 45–60 days of hire.

Hands-On Experience: Engage in every aspect of employment litigation, from intake to trial, with exposure to discovery, depositions, mediations, and courtroom proceedings.
