Graza makes always fresh, never blended, olive oil that comes in fun-to-use squeeze bottles and unique refillable cans. In the past two years, Graza has expanded nationwide with retail partners and direct to consumer distribution. We’re proud to be on the shelves of Whole Foods Market, Target, Walmart, Kroger, Safeway, Albertsons, Publix, Costco and many others. In the next year, we plan to continue our expansion and are looking for another member for our accounting team.
This position will work with the Controller to prepare all monthly financial statements and ensure Graza’s records are accurate and updated in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of accounting operations including billing, financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and tax compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up to date financial records and prepare monthly financial statements
- Perform month end entries and account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts including cash and inventory balances
- Manage weekly accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
- Oversee Graza’s trade spend expenses; ensure chargebacks are accurate and captured on financial statements correctly
- Maintain all backup schedules and record monthly entries
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance
- 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in inventory and COGS
- Experience with consumer-packaged goods (CPG), food and beverage, E-commerce or physical goods
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent
- Strong understanding of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Experience using an inventory management experience
- Preferred experience with both wholesale and ecommerce accounting
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a team environment to continuously improve results
The base pay range for this position is $70,000- 85,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location.
