Position Summary
Provide early education members with consultation and support in all areas of early education, working in collaboration with the Early Education Department. Promote membership to non-member programs and individual membership to Christians educating outside of a member program or serving in a related field. Serve as a voice and advocate for ACSI Early Education programs, in accordance with the Early Education Department.
This position requires working from a remote or home office location from any of the following states: AR, IA, IN, IL, KS, KY, LA, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, OH, OK, SD, TX, WI, WV. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
• Provide consultation, resources and networking opportunities for member programs and leaders, working under the direction of the Director of Early Education
• Collaborate to align Early Education team initiatives toward the organizational strategic plan
• Collaborate to develop or update Early Education benefits for members
• Support the design and plan to recruit ACSI membership among non-member programs and individual Christian early educators
• Support the Division Director of Accreditation by supplying information specific to early education accreditation and serve on early education teams when asked to do so and approved by the Director of Early Education
• Support the Divisional team to serve members and potential members and supply early education information as needed
• Develop and maintain relationships with early education leaders
• Promote ACSI products and services to members and non-members
• Collaborate with the Early Education team to plan and implement professional development events
• Monitor legislation affecting early education in the states of the Division(s) and provide updates as requested
• Assist member schools with state acceptance of professional development training/CEUs toward program licensure
• Review current research and collaborate with the Early Education team for best practices in early education
• Assist and support Early Education Field Directors
• Provide reports and progress with customer engagement
• Annually set and evaluate goals/objectives and submit to the Director of Early Education for approval
• All other duties as assigned
Compensation and Benefits
Starting Salary Range: $66,100 – $70,000 per year; based on work experience, education, training, knowledge, skills, and internal and external equity.

Required Experience and Education
• Three or more years as an early education director or four years as an early education classroom teacher and evidence of contributions to the field of early education
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field, including nine credit hours in Early Childhood and Business, Administration, or Leadership respectively
• Master’s degree in Education/Administration preferred
• Highly effective oral and written communicator
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational skills
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management software
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Strong work ethic
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Integrity in dealing with confidential information
• Ability to work alone or as part of a diverse team to accomplish the organization’s mission
• Ability to speak and travel providing professional development to early educators across the country and internationally
• Collaborates and works with ACSI personnel with a spirit of dedication, flexibility, and humility to successfully achieve the Association’s mission
Physical Demands and Work Environment
• Must be able to travel to other locations and early education programs within daily commuting distance on overnight trips
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% to 35% by plane or automobile
• Driver’s License required to be kept current and in effect as a condition of employment
• Employee is regularly required to walk, sit, use hands and fingers, talk, and hear
• Essential duties require the use of computers to process information
• The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to read at close range and distinguish colors and contrasts
• The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and manage luggage and Early Education material when travelling
