Field Service Technician – Monroe, Michigan


DISHER is currently partnering with a leading manufacturer of underwater pelletizers to find a Service Technician to add to their growing team! This person will be responsible for completing repairs and installations in a safe and timely manner.

What you will get to do:
  • Independent commissioning of new systems at our customers sites
  • Train and provide advice to customers regarding system operation
  • Work with customers to ensure trouble-free system operation
  • Offer support to our customers with professional fault analysis and problem solving
  • Filling out required documents needed for each assignment
  • Establishment of lasting and cooperative customer relationships
  • Promoting the company’s services
  • Optimization of process technology and support in continuous further development and improvement
  • Performs other related duties as assigned


What will make you successful:
  • An associate’s degree, technical certification in the industry, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment
  • The ability to work independently and/or in a team settings
  • Willingness and ability to travel (mainly in North America) up to 75% of the time
  • Willingness and ability to travel to Austria for training/education
  • Good computer skills, CRM knowledge is an advantage
  • Must possess a valid passport and driver's license
  • Be self-motivated with a high sense of responsibility and initiative
  • Reliable with sense for accuracy and good order
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • The ability to diagnose and solve problems based on customers' non-technical descriptions
  • Maintains work area and tools in a clean, orderly and safe manner
