A company is looking for a Data Governance Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead data governance activities, including curating data assets and ensuring alignment with agency-wide strategy
• Manage the end-to-end data governance platform, enabling automated metadata capture and data classification
• Optimize software use and recommend system improvements to enhance data governance processes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years' experience in a relevant field
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science
• Experience with healthcare data and cloud modernization initiatives
• Strong knowledge of data governance and metadata management, particularly with platforms like Alation and Collibra
• Certifications such as Databricks Certified Data Engineer or Alation Certified Professional Consultant are preferred
