A company is looking for a Compliance Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Formalize and manage a compliance program by monitoring relevant laws and regulations
- Conduct audits and analyze business practices for regulatory compliance and risk identification
- Develop and maintain HR compliance programs and advise leadership on related changes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- 5+ years of in-house corporate compliance experience required
- 3+ years of HR compliance experience with knowledge of California and New York state employment laws
- Professional certifications such as CCEP or CRCM are preferred
