Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Cloud Security Engineer who will be responsible for engineering and implementing security controls in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement a comprehensive authorization framework and Just-In-Time access control systems for cloud resources
• Develop and maintain security automation scripts and tools in Python or Go to enhance security operations and compliance
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate robust security controls into systems and CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in cloud security, particularly in AWS
• Proven hands-on software development experience in Python and Go for security automation
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and proficiency in Terraform for security configurations
• Experience with containerization and hardening containerized environments
