Cloud Platform Engineering Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director, Cloud Platform Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the establishment of a Platform Operating Model focused on product-driven delivery and self-service capabilities
• Drive cloud transformation initiatives, overseeing the migration of on-premises systems to cloud platforms
• Champion automation and DevSecOps practices to enhance cloud platform engineering and developer self-service

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• A minimum of eight years of experience in leadership roles managing large engineering teams, with at least five years managing leaders
• Five+ years of experience in cloud architecture, design, and implementation at scale
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, preferably AWS and Azure, and experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools
• Demonstrated ability in leading DevSecOps and CI/CD implementations
