Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign E/M, modifiers, and ICD-10 codes from documentation ensuring proper medical necessity
• Review provider submitted coding in EPIC against documentation and recommend coding changes
• Manage assigned EPIC WQ's to meet submission expectations

Required Qualifications

• Current CPC or equivalent through the AAPC or AHIMA required
• At least three years of active E/M coding experience for multiple specialties
• At least three years of active surgery coding experience
• Recent experience in EPIC in Follow-Up WQ's and either Charge Review or Claim Edit WQ
• Multi-specialty EM and procedure/Sx coding experience across various specialties
