Associate Financial Planner

This position would ideally begin in June 2025, though the team is open to adjusting the start date if needed.

We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our Wealth Management Department. Boulay Financial Advisors provide clients with holistic and integrated tax, estate, investment and wealth advice to simplify the financial. Our Associates provide direct assistance to a team of about 40 people and get hands-on client experience. Responsibilities

Financial Planning:

• Learns & assists with the financial planning process, including cash flow planning, risk management, tax planning, retirement planning, and estate planning.
• Learns & assists with identifying tax planning strategies through creating tax projections for clients.
• Assist in researching technical issues and client questions.

Client Service & Relationship Management:

• Assist with client development and ongoing relationship management.
• Help prepare for client meetings.
• Attend and participate in client meetings by taking notes and running technology.
• Assist in the development of client communications.
• Assist in the set-up and transfer of funds for new investment accounts.
• Assist with client account administration functions.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, financial planning, accounting, or related degree
• Minimum 3.0 GPA and a solid track record of academic achievements
• Desire to work towards CFP, CFA or CPA Certifications(s)
• Sound understanding of general stock market, mutual fund, financial planning, and economic terminologies with a firm grasp of the financial planning process.   
• Ability to be flexible to changing circumstances and client needs 
• Strong attention to detail 
• Eager to learn and possesses a strong sense of curiosity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong attention to detail, ability to learn quickly, and maintain confidentiality.
• Effective communicator with strong multitasking, prioritization, interpersonal skills, and a collaborative, client-focused mindset.

The annual salary range for this position is: $62,000 - $82,000. This salary range reflects anticipated responsibilities and qualifications of a successful candidate for this role. Final compensation may vary depending on an individual’s experience, knowledge, and skills. Individuals may be eligible for additional compensation in the form of incentives, commissions, profit sharing, and more, depending on the role.
