SideProjects: Submission Guide, Domain Rating & Alternatives
SideProjects (sideprojects.net) is a community with a Domain Rating of 17, ranking 19 of 23 among founder communities and 435 of 508 overall. That is below the 33 median for this category.
Its outbound links are dofollow, so a listing passes authority to your own domain as well as sending referral traffic. Authority is low, so only submit if the audience is a genuine fit for your product. A listing here will not move your rankings by itself.

How to submit to SideProjects
- Open sideprojects.net and look for the submit, add product, or get listed link, usually in the header or footer.
- Have your assets ready before you start: a one-line pitch, a longer description, a logo, and two or three screenshots. Most rejections are for incomplete listings, not bad products.
- Write the description for this directory specifically. Pasting the same paragraph everywhere is the single clearest signal of a low-effort submission, both to moderators and to search engines.
- Because SideProjects links out with dofollow, make sure the URL you submit is the page you actually want to rank, usually your homepage or the most relevant product page.
- Record where and when you submitted. Approval on directories at this authority level can take days to weeks, and you will want to follow up.
