OpenTools: Submission Guide, Domain Rating & Alternatives
OpenTools (opentools.ai) is a AI tool directory with a Domain Rating of 70, ranking 16 of 127 among AI tool directories and 101 of 508 overall. That sits well above the 39 median for this category.
Its outbound links are nofollow, so a listing will not pass authority to your domain. The value here is referral traffic and the brand mention, not SEO. At this authority level the listing is worth the submission effort even if approval takes a few weeks.

How to submit to OpenTools
- Open opentools.ai and look for the submit, add product, or get listed link, usually in the header or footer.
- Have your assets ready before you start: a one-line pitch, a longer description, a logo, and two or three screenshots. Most rejections are for incomplete listings, not bad products.
- Write the description for this directory specifically. Pasting the same paragraph everywhere is the single clearest signal of a low-effort submission, both to moderators and to search engines.
- OpenTools uses nofollow links, so optimise for the click rather than the link: lead with the benefit, not the keyword.
- Record where and when you submitted. Approval on directories at this authority level can take days to weeks, and you will want to follow up.
